• Serve as liaison for the East Oakland Collective during outreach efforts, providing coordination among community-based organizations and stipend workers involved in COVID-19 response, service provision and/or community.
• Prepare outreach materials and toolkits and for diverse audiences as needed. Prepare a variety of educational materials, correspondence, periodic and special reports. Compile and maintain accurate records and files.
• In conjunction with the Wellness, Resource, and Outreach Coordinator, promptly identify and schedule stipend workers who best fit the population served. Recruit, train and onboard new stipend members on The East.

• Provide case management, including home-based case management, to a caseload of 16-20 families.
• Assist families and individuals to establish and meet housing goals and identify appropriate steps towards achieving goals, including modifying goals as needed, and evaluation of progress.

• Maintain precise and accurate documentation of case management services, including participant files and entries into participant databases.
• Coordinate with the Real Estate Department to maintain positive relationships with landlords and property management companies serving low income families. Represent and promote Hamilton Families network of housing.
• Promote values of self-sufficiency and empowerment throughout work with participants. Aid in the development of resource materials specific to neighborhoods/cities/counties where the families reside.

• Oversee the client application process for the program, including: assisting potential clients with the application, managing home assessments and tracking the client application/approval process using Salesforce
• Pursue a robust client and volunteer outreach strategy that increases awareness of the program among our target populations including: attending community meetings and outreach events, creating and distributing.

• Planning, leading and implementing core and non core programs and experienced for children in a small group setting. Create lesson plans for a myriad of classes such as Intro to Guitar, Pottery, Stained Glass, Outdoor.

• Co-led a project on Barth’s Syndrome withthe Ryan Lab for 10 weeks.
• Create repertoire of various laboratory techniques (i.e.: cell culture, western blot, gene extraction, and COLD PCR.)
• Presented findings on Barth’s Syndrome at the CHORI research symposium as a key note speaker in 2012. Findings became a viable cure for Barth’s Syndrome.
