Facilitate deployment of global supplier metrics across supply base. Support product engineering teams and the resolution of top warranty issues and in the application of advanced statistical analysis, problem solving techniques and Quality tools. Facilitate Utilization of PFMEA’s with manufacturing organization and/or DFMEA’s with engineering organization. Perform scheduled supplier assessments under the direction of the Global Supplier Quality Director. Responsible for validating and verifying corrective actions within the supply base, as well as JCI manufacturing and engineering organization. Act as a liaison between supply chain management and line of business leadership and customers to support supplier warranty and quality initiatives. Facilitate supplier quality roadmaps leading to improved supplier performance metrics. Supports plants in supplier quality issues and drives corrective actions with the suppliers. Facilitate the application of problem solving techniques in all supplier quality aspects. Support the PDP (Production Development Process) process through implementation of PAPSO (Part Approval and Process Sign Off) and participation in Project teams. Lead and manage cross functional project teams using standard project management techniques to drive toward corrective and preventive actions.

Managing and controlling the QA Lab and QA Incoming/receiving areas; Controlling the Non conformance material, Implementation of Deviation and Gage trak system; Managing audits of the final products; Managing the corrective action system; Processing RMA from field claims by doing the complete analysis and attending the conference calls in a weekly basis; Coordinating Internal Audits monthly; Measurement system analysis - Gage R & R; Peer reviewer on drawings; Change control approver for ISO documents; pFMEA and dFMEA approver; Introduction and implementation of Engineering changes (ECN); Coordinating 5S projects, Managing 10 people (Lab, line, Fab and Warranty auditors, Data entry and Warehouse leak checker).- Warranty project: Reducing $10,000 usd of warranties on circuit board failures.

Managing AD INFINITUM system to report Non Conformances; Developing Suppliers to get less than 250 ppms per month, Score cards for critical suppliers; Follow up Corrective and Preventive actions for each supplier using 8D form; Monthly meetings to review the top issues and action plans; Monthly Audits (the most critical suppliers) at their facilities; Controlling and managing the rejected material inventory; Get the credit memos for rejected parts; Coordinating all activities at receiving inspection; Apply PAPSO (Parts Approved and Process Sign off) for new parts and/or new suppliers; Uses of Quality Tools: pFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow diagram, Measurement System Analysis - Gage R & R, Containment Plan available, Dimensional Results; Managing of 9 people (2 Quality Engineers, 4 Quality Auditors, 2 Data entry, 1 Quality Assistance).

Developing procedures to inspect, analyze, test and evaluate the final product; Control and monitoring the OQL (Outgoing Quality Level), Scrap, Leaks and Field Claims; Managing projects to improve our key indicators; Monitoring the corrective and preventive actions on going; Using of control plans; Coordinate reworks; Introduction and implementation of Engineering Changes (ECN) in assembly lines; Controlling engineering deviations; Coordinating the certification of vacuum chamber; Part of the kaizen events; member of Product improvement Team, Brazing Process Coordinator; 5’s Auditor in productivity areas; Manage of 8 people (Quality Auditors).
