    Working for Beaver Creek was a great experience because we received training to help us improve our service to guests. We were able to help people to have a great experience during the day. We also offered to help them in case they had any injury while practicing snowboarding or skiing. We also worked in teams to solve any problem that could occur at the restaurant, we had different options to offer the best meals for children or people in general that have any allergy or a different food regimen. We learn about values that would keep a company in a constant improvement and evolution, we also find important to serve others in order to offer the best experience to entire families that were visiting the mountain for important holidays like Christmas or New Year’s Eve or a marriage proposal on top of the mountain.I also met people from different countries that were working at the restaurant or that were guests that were coming to the resort for holidays, I had the opportunity to show them about my culture, talk about my country and learn about their experience in a snow resort.

    Participating in an international college program for WALT DISNEY PARKS AND RESORTS, has been a great opportunity to experience how important customer service is specially for a company, we have received training to improve our service to guests and assist them with all the concerns and complaints they could have. I was able to share my culture with people from all over the world and learn about theirs was a really good experience. My role as a cast member was to help guests at a main store in Disney Springs, handling computer systems to control the stock of items that we had at the store. I was also able to sell merchandise and explain about the products we have in order to offer the best option for them. One of the greatest experience was that I was able to help a guest who couldn’t talk or hear and I used an iPad to help her find the product she was looking for, I was helping her and I didn’t notice that my manager was looking all this situation and he was really happy for the job I did with this guest saying it was important to help a guest that has different abilities and being able to do that without making her feel different, that experience is something that I will not forget and that has taught me that is really important how you treat others and how you can help them.
