• Role duties: solving queries to Spanish companies interested in the Guatemalan, Belizean and Nicaraguan markets about the local export requirements, regulations, tariffs, and other export-related information, providing services such as organizing work agendas and trade missions, conducting market research, searching local partners, following up the local economy and politics, updating the website with news and business opportunities, and following up tenders.• Achievements: 32 queries solved, one trade mission organized, market research conducted on olive oil, fast food franchises, medical tourism, and solid waste management in Guatemala. While most of these achievements were made independently; bigger projects –such as the trade mission, or the medical tourism research- were accomplished as part of a self-organized team.• I worked in this position during the first year of my International Trade internship.
