2020 was a devastating year for many of us; however, it afforded me the opportunity to finally build a PC of my very own. This was how my journey down the rabbit hole began. I became obsessed with building them, immediately convincing my friends and family to let me do it for them. I had discovered a passion, but my brain wasn't satiated with just building PCs. I began to wonder how these machines worked—what made them tick.I learned how processors, RAM, drives, and GPUs all work together to bring the machine to life, but I couldn't stop there, could I? Part of the blame goes to the Flipper Zero and the realization that many of our internet protocols are horribly insecure. I became fascinated with finding vulnerabilities in systems and understanding how they are exploited, which opened my eyes to the potential dangers of using the internet that I hadn't previously considered. It felt like I'd gained superpowers, but with great power comes great responsibility, right? Hearing the news and reading articles about how hackers harm others for financial gain left a bad taste in my mouth.I've always wanted to do something meaningful in the world, and computers led me there. I'm very eager and excited to get started in the world of security analysis and threat hunting, as well as to meet the friends I'll make along the way!
