Prepared Xdrive, a cloud services company, for company sale. Sold to AOL. Drove many technology, operational, and staffing changes to successfully achieve this technology transformation and company sale.Changes in online product marketing, customer support, software development, system hosting, software technology stack, hardware infrastructure, and SAN / NAS. Changes were made at an aggressive - hectic pace so the company would appeal to a large internet service acquirer.

Developed the managed services subsidiary. Enhanced the business model of the company with high margin, recurring revenue services for enterprise customers.The very profitable managed services and cloud hosting data center services leveraged the existing computer hardware re-seller business, and balanced the cyclical nature of the business. My team utilized portal systems to interact with managed services clients, made extensive use of virtualization (at the system, network and storage levels), and developed extensive skills in Oracle Database and ERP applications to provide midsize enterprise customers an effective outsourced alternative.

Chartered as CIO to help increase technical and operational strength, outsource manufacturing, and assist in preparing for the sale of the company. We sold the company to Clarent Corp. I actively assisted in post-merger integration.Board level manufacturing was successfully outsourced to Solectron and the Oracle ERP implementation project was successfully completed (had failed before my involvement)

Developed the technology infrastructure that enabled Amwest to grow 300% thru acquisition as well as organic growth over a 6 year period. Was an integral part of acquisition integration. Developed and profitably managed the technology bonding business sector.
