Senior Software EngineerViable Mar 2020 - Jan 2022Oakland, UsFounding Senior Fullstack Engineer. Stack: Next.js, React, Vercel, Hasura, GraphQL, Heroku. My work at Viable began as a founding frontend engineer and I was paired with a founding backend engineer. Together we built a survey tool for companies to automate getting customer feedback. We launched it on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/viable-fit#viable-fitI then stepped into a fullstack role and built the backend for our search and filtering systems using Algolia, so we could launch a Feedback feed where customers could browse through all of their datapoints, filter by topic or metadata, and ask questions in natural language using GPT-3 to generate summaries from the relevant pieces of feedback. We launched it on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/viable-fit#viable-2Since then, we have made major strides in ML and have been able to deliver automated and highly relevant thematic analyses of customer feedback data for companies with high data volumes. Imagine not having to read a word of what people are saying about your company via Intercom or on Twitter... and instead finding the most urgent actionable insights & recommendations on Viable. -

FounderDresspass May 2019 - Mar 2020I founded Dresspass, Inc. in 2019 and served as its CEO until 2020. Dresspass, Inc. was a fashion rental service that helped women pack for their trips. In a two-sided marketplace, stylists would rent their clothing by packing a suitcase for travelers coming to their city. We interviews and onboarded 200+ stylists, and fulfilled customer orders in NYC by delivering their packed suitcases to hotels and Airbnbs. I trademarked Dresspass, and I raised Angel money to finance the startup. The concept didn't last because of questions around operational complexities and creating a solid user experience from rental clothing. I pivoted Dresspass to be a fashion rental service that allowed users to split the cost of an item upon purchase, by agreeing to share the item (first user would rent the new item for x months, second user would keep the item, used). I built the full website, and found pilot users to post to its feed. I also spoke with investors on the long term idea: offering a rent button on traditional retail websites, and handling the user-matching, and emailing shipping labels as a third-party (like Affirm).

Cofounder, Ios EngineerBounce Labs, Inc. Jun 2015 - 2016Steven and I designed & built Bounce, an iOS app to make neighborhoods safer and more social. The concept was to create "homepoints" (a group for your dorm, or the block you live on). When out at the library or bar at night, you could see how many people from your homepoint were near you, and start a chat with them to coordinate going home together). - OptiMize (a club on campus dedicated to helping students create social change) helped fund our time working on this with a $12K grant!
