Born and raised in Miami, Florida. I grew up in the greenhouses and flower shop from my Parents and Grandparents. Learning at young age how to propagate, cultivate, and distribute large quantities of plants, wholesale as well as retail. Through this experience I was able to travel to Central Florida, Apopka, the hub for plant production back then in Florida. This we did almost weekly to purchase plants in larger production greenhouses, and to observe how they operated. As a child I was always amazed to see huge, seemingly endless fields of flowers and plants, that changed with every new coming season, from chrysanthemums to poinsettias, it was always remarkable to witness this evolution. Watching my parents and grandparents selling their goods and services, I soon adapted my own style of selling and with 11, produced and sold an entire table of plants that I created virtually from scratch. The total sale to a local store back then, K-Mart, was an experience that probably changed my life as I began to feel how the entire sales process develops. From your racing heart as you walk in your potential client's establishment, to having deliver a rock-solid, (even with 11 possible) pitch, that in hopes your client or customer, will at the very least walk a few steps with you, that you may show him or her your goods. And then the climax, when they take your product in their hands, inspect the quality and then without skipping a beat say, I will take all that you have, and on the end I was able to walk to the bookkeeping office and receive cash in my hands, incredible! I was hooked for Life!
