• Responsible for overseeing breakdown repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance and root cause analysis.• Design and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve reliability.• Troubleshooting and new projects/equipment from concept to operation.• Installation of replacement mechanical and electrical components.• Facility / Building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, as well as vehicle repairs and upkeep.• Certified Centroid CNC Installation Technician.• Retrofitting of electrical control systems and refurbishing CNC equipment: Including panel building, complete machine wiring, plumbing, setup, and installation.• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.• Setup and installation of servo drives and motors.• Setup and installation of spindle motors and variable frequency drives.• Replacement of precision ballscrews and linear rails / carriages.

Electrical:480v/120v Wiring and maintaining of circuit breaker panels, heater control panels, assembly machine control panels, electric motors and variable speed controls including solid state relays, ice cube relays, transformers, proximity switches, limit switches, reed switches, LVDTs and fiber optic cables and amplifiers.Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting mostly with Keyence and Allen Bradley.Pneumatics:Maintaining and repairs of cylinders, air compressor systems, and valves.Hydraulics:Maintaining and repairs of various hydraulic units including all pumps, motors, control circuits, flow controls, valves, lines and accumulators. Also rebuilding of piston and rod cylinder seal kits.Basic upkeep and repairs to:Water chiller system and lines.Liquid nitrogen tumbler system.Forklifts and scissor-lifts.Mold/ tool setting in various injection and compression presses.Klockner Desma injection presses, PanStone injection and vacuum compression, and a series of custom compression presses all running off a central hydraulic unit.I was also responsible for basic maintenance and repairs to all of the presses including all wiring, hydraulics, and components.Fabrication:All of the assembly machines maintained are custom built and programmed. I am able to use/ operate drills, grinders, saws, die grinders, milling presses and drill presses, Acetylene cutting torches, plasma cutter. I am also proficient at Mig welding, not currently certified though.
