I install and support dictation, transcription, and speech recognition software, so I've come to know how various departments in a hospital work and common workflows. My position gives me the opportunity to help hospitals; often they want to either replace old systems without users knowing, or take the next step in technology, and I have a little input on what becomes their daily routine. I'm a digital detective; I've spent a lot of time in log files and SQL and have become exceptional at tracking stuff down. I've also been uniquely cross-trained and have had cross-departmental responsibilities. I try to help and have fun every day.

Volunteer Committee Member position. I've pitched in on a couple subcommittee projects, and a couple of our annual big events - ARTventure and Action Arts in the Parks. I became committee chair in 2018. I was appointed for my 3rd term on the committee in 2019. I think I got in the first time because I said I think I'm funny and I like to look at stuff.

I started as a volunteer at the front desk, then started teaching screen printing, started helping in the shop, then started actually working there as a shop tech. I also started teaching silicon mold making and wood lathe.
