For over six years, I've worked on building my independent design studio working with clients big and small— from large companies like Google, Adobe, Facebook, and more to smaller businesses like a leather product business, a beer distribution company, and a ranch in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I've been lucky to help close to 100 brands in these last six years.During this time, I helped companies build their brands from the ground up and refresh/evolve their current brands. I've helped develop dozens of illustrative styles for multiple brands—most of the time entirely from scratch and through a process I call "Illustration Style Discovery."In addition to work that I've done with clients through Blue Cyclops, I've also been able to give back to the creative/designs community through my YouTube Channel (Tutorials, Live Streams, Tips/Tricks, etc.), the Design Break Podcast (designed to help creatives break out in their creative careers), and in my partnerships with Adobe on their live streams and through mentorship on their Discord.I've worked in a leadership role over these six years, both with other creatives that have been brought on to projects (directly and indirectly) as well as offering the same leadership and art direction to my clients—where I've acted as art director or provided such services during our partnerships.

I am hosting my podcast designed to help creatives grow their careers and unlock their path to creative success.Over 25 episodes and over 20,000 downloads —as of 2021.

Within the first six months, I helped build and expand upon the rebrand for Instapage that helped secure Series B Funding for the company ($20 million). I was able to work directly with the founder & stakeholders in the majority of our rebranding and website re-skinning efforts.Upon the launch of the updated Instapage website and rebrand, ad conversions doubled in the first week of the launch—due in part to the projects that I worked on and helped lead the exploration on.During my time so far at Instapage, I've helped in building our creative/marketing team.Work included: Website Re-skin & Strategy, Content & Template Creation, Illustrations & Style Discovery, and more.
