• Plans, develops, conducts, evaluates and coordinates specialized training courses for aircraft specific systems.• Performs platform instruction comprised of lessons pertaining to the aircraft electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, rotors, power train, fuel, flight control, airframe, weight and balance and general aviation subjects.• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technical matters pertaining to system instruction on the UH-72A and TH-67 aircrafts.• Conduct graduate/undergraduate level training in the theory of system operation performance characteristics and corrective response to malfunctions on the UH-72 and TH-67 rotary wing aircraft.• Evaluates and updates training programs to evaluate effectiveness of training.• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workprocesses, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.• Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel performing aircraft and subsystem maintenance and evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.• Applies a combination of instructional methods to include conferences/lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises and seminars.• Prepares lesson plans, selects and develops teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.• Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
