And nothing beats the feeling of going on stage to ring the bell for an IPO. Public speaking is fun and some of my more memorable ones for me are the first TechCrunch Disrupt in China (2011), China's inaugural World Internet Conference (WIC) in Wuzhen (2014), and the inaugural Wall Street Journal's Asia D.Live Conference (2017). Dixon Doll (founder of DCM) and I appeared on CCTV’s then preeminent TV show discussing the future of China’s venture capital market in 2006. Seeing yourself on TV (usually a re-run in a hotel gym) was cool. Spanning my career, I am proud to have been the recipient of awards and honors.
