About Roberto C. Mayer
Roberto's journey began at age 12, teaching and mentoring classmates in math and sciences. As a teenager, he wrote philosophical essays, composed music, and became one of South America's first microcomputer programmers, leading to a corporate job at a major bank in his early 20s. Concurrently, he pursued an academic career at São Paulo University (USP), earning an MSc in Computer Science and serving as a part-time professor for over a decade. By age 30, Roberto had published several IT books, spoken at numerous events, written articles for various publications, and founded a company that served major tech firms like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and SAP.In 1995, Roberto began volunteering in IT Trade Associations, eventually becoming president of Assespro São Paulo and the Ibero-American Federation of IT Trade Associations. His extensive travel and speaking engagements in 40 countries inspired him to write a book on ONG network management, published in 2015. Personal challenges led him to write "The Seven Keys to the Serenity Prayer" in 2019, and to co-found Conscious Love in 2020, a mutual support group network. Roberto's Signolife methodology, aimed at helping people live purposeful lives, was first presented at International Cooperation Day 2023 in Panama City.
