During this time, Rocsi entered BET's 2006 New Faces competition on a lark and ended up winning the contest, beating out more than 6,000 other contestants to become a member of the BET family. For the last five years, Rocsi has co-hosted BET’s No. 1 program, 106 & Park, with fellow competition winner Terrence J. As the host of a top-ten music video show boasting nearly 85 million viewers across the globe, Rocsi premieres urban music’s newest and most popular music videos, and her approval has demonstrated the potential to turn a previously unknown album, artist, or film into a worldwide phenomenon. Rocsi still retains a close association with her roots in New Orleans. An active member of her home community, Rocsi serves as the head of the RocStar Foundation, a non-profit focused on rebuilding and refurbishing schools affected by Hurricane Katrina.
