 Monitor & analyze the WCDMA/HSDPA Radio Network Statistics on daily basis.  Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retain ability, Mobility & Service Integrity)  Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the ISHO Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in his designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed.  Responsible for testing the radio performance for the newly integrated sites.  Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to improve the performance of his area.  Perform Radio Network Surveys, i.e. visit possible sites in order to judge if they are suitable from a radio network point of view (Hardware & Location).  Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies regarding Radio Network Optimization, Features, and Trials & Tuning.

Area of Responsibility: Ensures that the design of the radio network will fulfill the requirements of the customer in terms of coverage, capacity and quality. Creates a complete nominal and final radio network design including traffic calculations, coverage estimations, coverage and interference predictions, and frequency plan (e.g. for macro, micro, and Pico cells). Performs a study and dimensioning of the network in the area of responsibility with regards to subscribers growth. Perform analysis on problem areas, nominal point plan, search rings, site design, prediction planning and technical site visit. Produces configuration data documents, specifying the hardware configuration of each base station in the final cell plan. Conducts RF measurements for tuning and optimization of the propagation model used in the TCP for a reliable coverage and interference prediction. Conducts site coverage verification in view of commissioning and site acceptance of new/co-located sites. Allocates frequencies and values of radio parameters for frequency planning and CDD preparation of each cell. Supports RND engineers in evaluating Site Acquisition Reports for approval and rejection of proposed sites. Supervises the work of, and imparts competence to RND engineers. Writes acceptance test documents and participates in the acceptance procedure of the radio network. Provides RND-related documents in tenders and participates in clarification and negotiation meetings with the Customer. Supports the local Product Managers, and as well as conducts customer presentation for the marketing of Ericsson wireless systems and services.
