Taylor, Ph.D. is an award-winning educator, scholar, author, and the founder and CEO of Performance Learning Concepts. He’s been active in teaching, leadership training, and speaking for over twenty-five years. He’s taught at Stanford, Indiana University, and the Honors College at Tennessee State University, and his advanced degrees in education, literature, writing, and philosophy have influenced his approach to working with leaders and those in the business world. As a result, he has published, presented, written, and taught in each of these areas over the last two decades. From academic publications like Oxford University Press to popular press magazines, Rod has published numerous articles on the topics of creativity, education, the arts, and cooperative learning, and his interdisciplinary approach to the arts and business has him traveling internationally to speak and lead workshops on Communication, Design Thinking, Innovation and Creativity, Growth Mindset, and Leadership.Rod has also served as a Faculty Fellow at the Design School in Paris, France (d. School Paris-Est) and an Artist-in-Residence and strategic leadership consultant to the College of Arts and Science at Lipscomb University. A longtime musician, he lives in Nashville, TN, where he’s had the pleasure of playing bass for a variety of artists, including Victor Wooten, Krista Detor, Cindy Morgan, Chuck Rainey, and Jenee Fleenor.
