30 years of experience running a very successful tool and plant hire business, delivering consistently good customer care, a reliable service and providing quality equipment from small tools to large plant. Customers were from across the construction & building sector plus home DIY, with a mixture of pre-orders and walk-ins. Recently, I sold my company as a successful, going concern and moved to the UK. I am now looking for a new direction in my career, working for an established UK organisation and using my extensive knowledge to support business growth and deliver a high-quality service. I love being hands-on in the depot and co-ordinating the complex logistics of getting the right equipment to the customer at the right time through smart control of stock, cleaning and repairs. I also really enjoy all aspects of procurement, from sourcing new suppliers, to contract negotiation, pricing and due diligence. Competent in supplier management, I had an import licence for equipment from China, which included visiting trade fairs plus ensuring compliance with regulations and quality control.
