I am a Private Client partner at Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP, solicitors in Inverness.I have over 25 years experience in private client practice in Edinburgh and Inverness. I advise private individuals, business owners and trustees on a wide range of matters such as estate & succession planning (including Wills and related matters), executries, setting up & administering trusts, inheritance tax, business succession issues, adults with incapacity (including powers of attorney and guardianships), issues relating to care, crofting succession and related issues.As well as a being a solicitor, I am a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP - full member of STEP, the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners), a member of the Crofting Law Group and sit on the Council of the Scottish Law Agents Society. I have published various articles on succession and related matters and spoken at Conferences and seminars.
