Reduced the initial installation cost by 23% resulting in a savings of $6M in the 2019 program spend.* Managed the design and installation of a Waste Water Upgrade project within an aging facility. This project required the removal and reclamation of 50-year-old leaking holding ponds and replacement with tanks, pumps, and internally coated piping.* Developed wellsite designs for the appraisal phase of the Ferrier East Development Project with a focus on reducing capital expenditure while achieving production requirements. Full life-cycle from concept to construction.

Managed the execution of major capital projects with a focus on Mineable Oilsands business. Responsible for overall scope, budget, planning, scheduling, risk assessment and mitigation, HAZOP, preparation of Construction Work Packages, and manpower.* Completed the design and installation of a new Hydrotransport and Blending facility. * Managed the detailed design of two new Ore Preparation Plant trains for a new mine pit.* Area manager for the EDS phase of a new oilsands extraction project.

Provided technical guidance to Project Management, managed the scope definition, design workload, and inter-discipline communication to deliver projects effectively within schedule and budget. Responsible for ensuring due diligence and planning activities, quality assurance, monitoring engineering progress to identify any shortfalls, develop recovery plans and ensure plans are implemented. Included extended engineering support during field construction and module fabrication.* Oversaw coordination of multi-discipline team to develop new modular pumphouses complete with integrated E-house and internal overhead cranes, allowing the reduction in requirement for large cranes for routine maintenance.* Coordinated all activities for the design and construction of early works construction to ensure long lead mechanical equipment installation was not delayed.* Managed the development and implementation of a new Ore Preparation Plant within and existing facility including interface with third party equipment suppliers, fabrication, and field installation
