Act as the client advocate within TELUS Health for assigned group of major, complex clients with a depth and breadth of TELUS Health solutions. Function as a primary interface between TELUS Health and the client's senior operational management and executive for all service delivery and service assurance issues or escalations. Manage the governance with the client with a focus on continual service improvement in support of the client's strategic direction and business plan.

Lead the western Canada (BC, AB and SK) team of Implementation Specialists and Product Trainers who are responsible for the delivery of IT and Professional Services both on site and remotely to our EMR customers while ensuring the highest quality. Work with Implementation Managers and clients to deliver all technical aspects of an implementation and training at the customer site. Provide operational reporting for all aspects of IT and Professional services provided and other metrics as defined by operations leadership. Ownership and responsibility of all team and departmental projects, coordination of activities affecting the entire IT and Professional Services group for western Canada, development of support programs, process reengineering, continuous improvement, and change activities.

Responsible for the successful implementation into medium to large clinic environments, developing and applying project management processes to the implementation and the development/maintenance of implementation standards and processes. Maintenance, development and implementation of medium to large project plans. Tracks, monitors and communicates project progress against the project plan and requirements. Lead all aspects of the software/hardware implementation and management of client and third-party relationships and expectations.

Responsible for the management, administration and coordination of project management including planning and scoping projects; providing leadership and guidance to project teams; acting as resource; delegating projects, tracking progress and reporting. Successfully managed information technology projects with local and provincial scope and projects included:• An initiative to optimize the care of Albertans with diabetes and hypertension by utilizing business intelligence tools and pan-Alberta data standards to facilitate communication between clinical systems and providers.• A document management system for Alberta Children’s Hospital Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit that enabled the storage and retrieval of procedure standards.• Customization and integration of an application which provides tools to support continuity of care and utilization reviews in acute care centers that reduced length of stay in acute care beds.• An initiative focusing on patient movement through various health care areas using technical solutions to minimize the impact so that continuity of care is maintained in a safe and efficient manner while decreasing duplication of effort, risks, problems and gaps.
