Within the labor realm, I have been retained as a testifying expert in over 50 class action and multi-plaintiff matters evaluating claims under federal pay statutes, including the Fair labor Standards Act, brought by more than 50,000 individuals. I have examined financial and/or economic issues in the context of civil litigation, criminal investigations, investor/state arbitrations and contract compliance. I have addressed profits, cash flows, business value, back pay compensation, royalties, unjust enrichment and “most favored nation” pricing. I have been retained as an expert in damages analysis, survey research and statistics and have testified in arbitrations, federal court matters, and before a subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives.I have a Masters degree in economics from the University of Michigan. I also hold professional certifications in financial forensics (Master Analyst in Financial Forensics), business valuation (Certified Valuation Analyst), and fraud examination (Certified Fraud Examiner).
