Managed over $2.4 million dollars in physical assets. Established goals and priorities in the planning and implementation of Physical Security procedures, effectively utilizing assets to maintain a defensive posture in all levels of personnel and asset security.• Submit recommendations to resolve difficult and complex security problems. Advise Executive leadership in creating a positive equal opportunity environment through policy, communication, training, enforcement and assessment.Successfully managed a diverse workforce comprised of 11 supervisors and 93 security / emergency specialist in the protection of 33,000 military and civilian families across 5 separate bases.• Constructed and implemented policies, operation orders, and directives. • Organized and directed focus groups for directors, department heads, middle management, supervisors and entry level employees to validate organizational climate concerns. • Plan, coordinate and provide budget preparation information for all operational functions of the department.Prepare and review written correspondence and instructions.• Aggressively restored a dormant program by equipping program coordinators with necessary skills to effectively manage personnel, saving the Navy over $42K and over 1,400 hours in overtime pay and allowances.• Analyze internal processes and implement procedural and policy changes to improve operations. Advise senior management by providing recommendations of program and process improvements.• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options to implement solutions.• Apply basic investigative principles, concepts and methods of fact-finding and investigative procedures. • Interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds to tactfully handle difficult or unpleasant situations.
