I have interviewed highly sensitive victims to business owners. I have spent a majority of my time in the courtroom, from pre-probation hearings to probation revocation hearings.

Investigates offenders’ personal, social and legal history so that information needed by the Board, court and other agencies are complete and accurate and decision makers will have appropriate information as evidenced by documentation and observation of supervisor.Composes investigative reports so that reports contain accurate and complete information, so that the decision maker within the designated time frame as evidence receives reports by completed documents.Supervises offenders’ personal, social and economic circumstances so that offenders have the opportunity to become habilitated and productive citizens as evidenced by observation of the supervisor.Supervises offenders’ legal activities so that offenders are living within the conditions of probation and parole and society is protected.Collects money as related to probation or parole supervision from offenders as ordered by the Board or courts so that the offenders’ financial obligations are met.Monitors and reports offenders’ compliance with rules so that infractions will be reported to the Board or court within the second month of noncompliance or within 72 hours of arrest.Issues/executes writs of arrest so that non-complying offenders are incarcerated and can be taken before the Board or court and appropriate action may be taken.Interacts well with the criminal justice community so that positive public relations are maintained.Maintains caseload data so that records are actuate and complete and can be immediately retrieved and used as evidence.

At this position I was sent to the Law Enforcement Academy in Tuscaloosa where I graduated on 7/15/2004.Maintained the care of all prisoners according to jail regulations and any duties assigned by the supervisor.Provided written reports to my supervisor, Major, or the Sheriff of any incidents, which occurred within the detention center during my shift.Responsible for furnishing any reports to the Sheriff and Major regarding sickness or injuries to a prisoner that resulted in treatment or transportation to the hospital.Made regular inspections within the detention center and made sure that it was maintained in a neat and sanitary manner.Made sure that all prisoners were booked in and processed for confinement as required in the jail.Being a Corrections Officer was my first experience in Law Enforcement. I had to work hands on with all inmates; this included doing physical head counts, carrying inmates to doctor and/or dentist, to serving trays. I broke up minor/ major fights, supervised suicidal inmates and supervised inmates that were involved in high profile cases, from murders to financial crimes. I treated everyone firm but fair.
