Finance And Operations Manager
CurrentAssists managers in preparing annual program budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly reconciliations and year-end summary of operations.• Responsible for the monthly and annual year-end accounting close for the Calendar and Online store programs. Contact person for inquiries and requests from auditors for the Calendar and Online Store program.• Assists Managers in preparing all accounts payable and receivable for assigned programs, including from distributors, subsidiary rights licenses, remainder sales, etc.• Works in the Club’s Finance Department for 10 to 14 weeks in preparation of annual audit. Projects include budget analysis, chapter financial statements review, and chapter recordkeeping. Identifies and resolves discrepancies.• Administers and manages the SC Chapter & Group Calendar Sales Program, including program enrollment, customer service, inventory management, distribution, compliance, and returns. • Administers and manages the in-house ordering and distribution of gratis SC calendars for premium and promotional use by SC staff and volunteers including program enrollment, compliance, customer service, inventory management, fulfillment, billing, and accounting. • Oversees free and for sale SC merchandise needs for chapters and groups. Provides excellent customer service, inventory management, order processing, and problem resolution. • Assists the Online Store Manager/Calendar Program Coordinator in the sale and disposition of excess inventories of store items. Processes and fulfill orders received by the Club’s Online Store. • Improve store sales by testing and analyzing store product mix. Test sales channels with different product mixes, prices, offers, etc. Work with ad agency to create tests that improve sales; partner with Sierra Club Online Fundraising team and Digital Strategies team where appropriate to increase online sales of store and calendar. • Performs miscellaneous duties as directed.
