As the Build Better Careers Director, Initiatives (WED), - I will coordinate with partners representing workforce developers, community-based organizations, industries, and postsecondary education and training providers, in addition to working with employers to identify the in-demand occupations crucial to mapping career pathways that sustain and grow the talent pool in the identified sector(s) in each project region. - I will also keep the project and activities on track and will use information gathered to catalog certificate and degree programs among the education and training partners and map them to the needs for career pathway programming to show the impact of the initiative’s outcomes.- I will also work with the regional partners to ensure the effective delivery of the initiative and contribute to annual impact and revenue goals by nurturing strong client relationships and providing excellent subject matter expertise for CAEL’s project deliverables, which involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants and partners.

As the Training System Manager at Public Strategies-Work Ready Oklahoma, I have been instrumental in planning, developing, and executing training programs and projects. These initiatives have not only focused on developing skills training certifications and career-building opportunities but have also made a significant impact in the areas of primary and secondary education, workforce development, job training, and college access. As a Workforce Development Adjunct, I facilitate professional training for adult learners and provide established industry-related certification preparation and credentialing as part of our commitment to the local community. As an Adjunct Trainer, I operate under the Workforce Development umbrella and offer training for Goodwill clients under the GCPI and Employment program certificate programs. As a Goodwill Certificates Trainer, I work to support Goodwill training certifications and classes that serve the public good and include coursework such as Employment Essentials for Goodwill clients. Other duties include:- Provides training in all certificate areas on a rotating basis.- Documentation of training materials.- Administration of training records.- Documents completions and outcomes from training.- Evaluate client/student performance and the ability to address concerns as needed.- Serve on training committees as needed.

Responsible for management and strategic planning for each federal grant program in the Veteran Services and Targeted Populations divisions. I oversee Federal grant programs, including RESEA, Trade Adjustment Assistance, Temporary Residence Adaptation, Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Dislocated Worker Grant, Workforce and Innovation Opportunity, and others. Other duties include: Establishing relationships with external agencies to develop partnerships to serve unemployed workers better and source other federal grants for the agency Provide leadership and management for each program operations Coordinate with Department of Labor and other federal agencies on grant requirements and deadlines Develop reports on state audits, division budgets, and other relevant agency reports

I currently serve in developing the College and Career Department at Francis Tuttle Technology Center. I work with all students on their career plans and help students transition to college or the workforce after their program completion at Francis Tuttle. I am responsible for:•Facilitating a new career platform for the district that will increase the amount of student engagement with employers and track students' career plans across the district by 85%.•Planning college and career fairs for students•Developing and facilitating skill-based workshops•Working with the community to develop strategies to assist students in diversity, equity, and inclusion•Assisting at the state level as program chair to the diversity & inclusion and political action committees

Assist students at the University of Central Oklahoma and Francis Tuttle with their educational goals. I provide career advisement and career plans for students at both institutions. I act as recruiter for both colleges and plan college workshops and information sessions for students. I also help UCO students who withdraw from the university transition to Francis Tuttle Technology Center as a post-secondary option. In addition, I form and maintain relationships with key university departments and acts as an ambassador of Francis Tuttle and UCO at community events.

I planned and coordinated all events for the association, MLS and selected association committees. In addition, I aided in coordinating continuing education courses for members of the association.
