After completing the necessary training as a Safety Trainee and finishing my term as part of the executive board of DARE, I have the honour of becoming one of the Safety Officer for DARE as a member of the Safety Board. The Safety Board is a separate entity within DARE, consisting of experienced members of the society responsible so that all activities within a student rocketry society happen safely. This role entails being end-responsible for the safety of DARE's members during tests and at its facilities, reviewing system applications concerning pyrotechnics and high-pressure feed systems among others. This role also entails ensuring the legal transport of explosives.This role also entails being responsible for organising the use of DARE solid propellant for its various motors and rockets which are used regularly during launch days and tests occurring at the TU Delft.
