About Roderick Lee

I am a business intelligence and data warehouse analyst with over ten years of multi-platform full data warehouse life cycle experience and over twenty years of more general database analysis and development. I have extensive experience in the full warehouse life cycle from ETL to design to business intelligence reporting and dashboard analytics. My database expertise and preference is in Oracle, but I also have experience with SQL*Server, Informix, MySQL, and, much older, DB2 and Teradata. My BI and ETL experience is both with the Business Objects Enterprise suite and the Microsoft BI stack for which I also have a technical certification (see below). I also have extensive experience in "hand-coding" in-house ETL solutions (usually using PL/SQL or Perl).I have designed logical data models for assorted disparate industries, in support of prospective data warehouse or reporting engagements and physical data models for related data warehouse and data mart projects, all designed using ERWin. I have worked on large-scale database-centric software development projects in Oracle PL/SQL, Perl, and MySQL.
