Investment Operations Officer
CurrentInvestment Operations Officer in the Transfers department. Working across multiple client platforms ensuring the smooth transition of funds and assets within agreed SLA's. The main duty at the moment is to remeditate client breaks. During this remediation I have taken on and developed an EoD process, opened up communication externally to greatly reduce the daily inflow of new breaks while working closely with internal teams to correct aged issues. Daily BAU consists of:Financial reporting and report matchingArranging T&S of equities with counter partiesTransferal of paper records to our electronic systems for 8 institutional clientsInvestigating and gathering evidence for platform failures, raising issues to the relevant teams for resolutionDeveloping manual workarounds for platform issuesReporting of risk events to our CASS and oversight team on day of discoveryManaging of BAU work around agreed KPI's to meet client goalsWorking on the operations call system, passing calls to all operational teams within FNZOver the past year I worked closely with our original UK client, attending F2F meetings on a weekly basis to discuss outstanding business and provide regular updates on any difficulties facing the team. Following this I was moved from a platform operating well to a platform failing KPI targets. This move was due to my ability to work under stress and communicate well with clients as well as other teams within FNZ.
