I have specialized in vision rehabilitation for over 40 years. My low vision care evolved naturally as a result of my years of caring for brain injury patients in their rehabilitative process. I've been instrumental as the only optometrist on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to be invited to be on the staff of Memorial Hospital. I consult with rehabilitation clinics on the Mississippi Gulf Coast & other traumatic brain injury rehab centers throughout Mississippi. I am also a seasoned lecturer and have spoken for the Mississippi Optometric Association and various groups on the Gulf Coast about low vision and visual disabilities following traumatic brain injury. In 2013, I retired from full-time primary optometric care to focus solely on making a difference for those with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, Stargardt's disease, and other vision-limiting diseases.
