I co-founded and led a prominent insurance broking firm with offices in Western Australia and Queensland and clients nationally. This bootstrapped business began in 2005 and became a profitable venture that grew by implementing organic, inorganic, segmentation and operational efficiency strategies. After acquiring several firms, we were acquired by a UK Global company in 2022.The establishment of my most recent venture, LimeBox, stemmed from my MBA studies which established learning frameworks around my 30 years of practical business experience which has had a profound impact on me plus my passion for helping business owners. I recognised a need for a consulting solution that could provide relevant, tangible business experience to help the insurance broking sector navigate a complex market environment and grow their equity value and improve their P&L performance along the way. As the lead principal for the Insurance Practice at LimeBox, I work with insurance broking businesses striving for sustained success (or wanting to exit) but need additional strategic resources to achieve their corporate and equity objectives. This could entail long-term growth, business process improvements, talent development or executing an M&A strategy (buying or selling).
