During my career I have had the opportunity of working through all aspects of the design process. Taking new concepts, through design and analysis and then supporting their introduction into production and testing. I have liaised with customers throughout this process to ensure that design briefs are correct, clearly defined and followed throughout. Where necessary adapting them as customer or product requirement evolve during the process.Within the roles that I have fulfilled over the last several years I have demonstrated an ability to• Provide the necessary leadership for a design team ensuring the necessary quality of work and schedules are achieved• Produce robust design solutions for a wide range of problems. Either from a clean sheet or by tailoring an existing solution• Generate design documentation and calculations• Undertake FEA simulation• Liaise with customers and suppliers• Be proactive and look for and develop new opportunities
