I am currently working on two priorities: 1) making Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) the most AI-driven financial institution in the UK, and 2) democratising AI to help our society prosper.As the new Group Head of AI at Lloyds, I lead multidisciplinary teams to scale and deliver AI initiatives across our multiple brands.Previously, I led Amazon's (AWS) Data and AI strategy for Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, I developed AWS’s data strategy capability from scratch, leading to a new cross-functional team, significant IP development, and AI products that have delivered unparalleled customer successes.Before joining Amazon, I was a management consultant in Australia and held leadership roles in top-tier consulting companies, including Accenture, Deloitte, and IBM. Working closely with CxOs, I have designed and delivered successful digital programmes for Fortune 500 companies. Most of these initiatives included setting up new data and AI functions.I operate with a global mindset, having done business in over 15 countries across Australia, the UK/Europe, India, and Southeast Asia.I have a PhD in AI (Machine Learning) from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor's and Master's in Information Technology, and was recently recognised with an Asia Pacific Leadership Award for my contribution to the global analytics community.
