I am totally responsible for every facet of this business. These have included hiring, stocking, marketing, bills payable, bills receivable, product placement, advertising, sales, real estate purchasing, maintenance, etc. I have had a hand in every possible job or decision. The company currently has two retail outlets as well as a traveling show division.

The behavioral specialist consultant identifies behavioral goals, designs behavior management system, and intervention techniques, and recommends noninvasive behavioral change methods. Members of the treatment team and family provide the service directly to the child and/or family in the home, school, day care, emergency room, or other community program or setting. While maintaining some direct contact with child and family, the behavior specialist consultant provides primarily assessment, data collection, program design and monitoring rather than direct therapy. The behavioral specialist consultant is expected to coordinate & participate in Interagency Service Planning Meetings as the lead clinician. When questions or conflict around behavioral paradigm arise in other systems, such as the school (e.g., a review of a behavior paradigm to help the child remain in school), the behavioral specialist consultant may participate in special child-centered, family-focused meetings along with other service providers. Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner including billable logs, treatment plans and progress notes; data collection, symptom measurement, monitor & report progress on goals. Provides consultation to the family, treatment team, mobile therapist, other service providers and therapeutic staff support in the accurate application of behavioral modification interventions. Acts as the consultant/instructor to the treatment team on behavior modification Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate clinical records, make clinical recommendations, and formulate treatment service plans and family goals.

I am responsible for a changing caseload of families that require mental health and behavioral health services. My responsibilities start at the assessment process, continue through developing a treatment plan and conclude when progress has been achieved and maintained on all levels of the targeted goals. My services include working with a partner for family sessions as well as doing individual sessions with targeted family members.Every aspect of a strength based family approach is utilized to achieve the desired progress in the targeted goal areas.

I started as a Counselor working to coordinate and implement case management activities for clients. This included developing treatment plans, individual and group counseling and related documentation. I administered clinical studies and ran group treatment sessions to further each client's individual treatment program. I also maintained communications with client juvenile probation officers, caseworkers and families/ legal guardians. In 2008 I was promoted to a Training Supervisor / On The Job Trainer. I then coordinated staff to ensure all training certifications were up to date. I also trained all staff to properly carry out their job duties. In conjunction with these duties I supervised all the staff in my dorm and help with scheduling and report corrections. In 2009 I was promoted to a Treatment Supervisor II position overseeing all aspects of management for an Education / Prevention unit. In 2010 I was promoted to the Treatment Supervisor II position of an Intensive Drug Rehabilitation unit. I resigned my position in September of 2010.

I have been responsible for a variety of jobs in the years with this company. They have included light station inspection, casing/uncasing, and hand inspection by pallet/case/bottle, case by case cardboard inspection, box gluing, pallet building, and a variety of other glass related duties. In 2005 I was given some crew leadership duties. In 2006 I was given all crew leadership duties. These duties require me to assess each job to determine everything from manpower needed to best method of reselection. I have traveled the United States and adapted to the work rules of many major corporations. These have included Bacardi Bottling of Jacksonville, Fla., B & M Bean of Portland, Me., Kraft of Dallas, Tx, and Allentown, Pa.

I wrote grants payable through the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to teach physically and mentally challenged clients to work in mainstream jobs. My duties included marketing suitable work sites and learning the jobs available. I would evaluate clients to make a work pool and match the appropriate client to the available job. I would work with the client every minute to teach them the proper way to do the job. As the client learned the job I would fade off until the client could do the job on their own and was responsible for all the paperwork needed to give the employer every tax break possible as well as all the paperwork needed to fulfill federal and state regulations.
