I oversee a crew of 3 men. We work 7am-3pm, 7 days a week. I am responsible for instructing them in their everyday tasks. I physically operate the rig controls. I oversee safety compliance for my crew. I maintain the Rig equipment and complete daily paperwork. I communicate with my Supervisor on an as-needed basis. My crew and I tear down the Rig, assist in moving, and build the rig back up. I check inventory and make sure that all parts are running smoothly and effectively. I communicate with Contractors as needed. I communicate effectively with both the shift before and after mine.

I assisted in daily operations of the rig including general maintenance and cleaning. I communicated with the Driller to see what needed to be done. Was accountable for maintaining safety standards. Assisted other crew members as needed. I threw chain and worked derricks. I educated new employees regarding processes and safety. Assisted in maintaining the chemical mud system and the internal/external operations of the Rig.
