    The Director works collaboratively with all branches of the organization in order to establish and implement academic policy with a particular focus on the programmatic, operational and administrative initiatives of SAI Programs. It is expected that the Director will execute these duties through leadership in a wide span of activities ranging from outreach project management, budget oversite and including representing SAI to various domestic and international constituencies. This position requires good judgment, sensitivity, perseverance and a superior business acumen. The Director needs to write well, speak publicly with articulation, communicate effectively, administer and implement efficiently and understand the dynamics of study abroad within U.S. colleges and universities.The position also requires researching, designing, and implementing development plans to ensure SAI’s product portfolio maintains a competitive edge in new and existing markets. This hands-on position is charged with identifying and creating programs that not only are of a superior academic caliber, but also produce high impact results. This position works closely with leadership at SAI to identify university market trends and opportunities, and collaborates on the design and delivery new programs and academic partnerships that are best suited to meet the needs of our U.S. university partners. This position is also responsible for coordinating the acquisition and distribution of marketing merchandise.
