Key to this tenure has been an ambitious focus on growth, realising the business case for the Fermentum acquisition while maximising the trajectory of the Craft Beer business. Leading up to ~190 staff, I sat on the Lion Australia leadership team and as a Board Director of Four Pillars, Remedy Drinks and Barcats Pty Ltd. Key outcomes include doubling the scale of the Lion Craft Beer business and commercial lead on the acquisition of Fermentum in record time of just 6 months. I am proud to have led initiatives that increased B Corp Certification score across Fermentum, uplifted brand power through the line execution of a consumer and customer centric portfolio strategy, and improved cross-functional gender balance. -
Finance Director - Lion AustraliaLion Oct 2015 - Sep 2020Full P&L and balance sheet governance across the business, leading a team of 120 through 8 direct reports and sitting on the Lion Australia leadership team and the Lion finance leadership team. Notable outcomes include exceeded business EBIT targets from 2015-2019, through strong governance and an effective growth strategy, involving significant change management and leadership. I drove significant revenue gains, establishing the Lion Craft spirits business by acquiring market-leading distributor (Vanguard) and industry-leading Four Pillars gin brand. I led a number of critical business negotiations, including divestment of Corona and restructuring the trade agreement with Heineken to provide further benefits to both parties. Importantly, I led a major SAP Hana implementation across Lion Australia, one of the largest in the southern hemisphere and developed and executed a revenue management strategy including RPA, implementation of Trade Management system to support strategy and growth aspirations. -
