About Rodney Stringer
The majority, of my career, has been on the News side of the broadcast industry. I have worked numerous roles: floor camera, floor director, TelePrompTer, audio operator, and Master Control. Once I became a journalist, I worked as a Reporter/Photographer. I then choose Photography as my primary focus. I rose from Staff Photographer to, a managerial position, as a Chief Photographer. The expanded responsibilities included, staffing, HR, inventory, special projects planning, IT, and equipment repairs. The latter lead me to the technical side of broadcasting with a stint in the Engineering department. Tasks include, but not limited too: IT, A/V, and equipment. Then the news bug struck, again, and I've found myself picking up the camera again. Love shooting news again.
