Program Director, Therapeutic Studies
CurrentResponsible for data management and project management oversight of all federally funded therapeutic trials within SWOG as well as contracted therapeutic trials within the Clinical Research Services (CRS) division of CRAB. Manages the collection, processing, and quality control of study data, develops and implements data operations policies and procedures, and ensures data integrity. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to direct activities associated with administration, budgets and personnel management.Manages a department of 18 consisting of Project Managers, Data Operations Supervisors and Data Coordinators. Implements SWOG Data Operations Center and CRS policies and procedures and has oversight over all SWOG and CRS therapeutic project management and data operations activities.Develop and directs the scope of projects identifying staffing needs, data management resources and ensure the completion of research activities. Collaborates with CRAB and SWOG leadership, sponsors, biostatisticians, program managers and key staff to design therapeutic studies, including the development of protocols, data collection forms, procedures, and training for site personnel and staff.Prepares bid estimates, writes data management plans and eCRF guidelines for studies conducted by CRS.
