Manage the Wholesale Fuels area for Shell, including negotiations of two major supply contracts valued at over $1.5 billion. Management of the RIO Tinto Australia contract during this period.Highlights included the retaining of the Worsley lubricants contract even after BP had won the rest of the BHP Australia supply.

Head hunted to set up a mining services division for Shell specializing in lubrication of heavy mining equipment. Initially recruited 3 technicians and the team rapidly grew to 9 technicians servicing Australia & Pacific Islands. The role included writing of the marketing & sales strategies and business plan plus hands on tender negotiations.Instrumental.
