As a Principal Advisor on the Nuton Evaluations team, Rodolfo leads comprehensive technical due diligence efforts, deciphering complex data to ascertain Nuton's value proposition. An accomplished geologist with nearly 15 years of industry experience, Rodolfo joined the Rio Tinto team in 2024 and plays an integral part in Nuton’s project portfolio development. His role requires financial evaluation, technical acumen in geology, mining, processing, and environmental fields, and opportunity and threat evaluation.Throughout his 15-year career, Rodolfo has worked on gold, lithium, and copper projects in both the U.S. and Chile. Previously with Tesla and Kinross Gold, he gained valuable experience in management roles, where he was known for identifying opportunities, leading technical projects, and developing effective teams. He brings this distinctive blend of technical and interpersonal skills to his work at Nuton, leading scoping studies for technical due diligence, identifying critical threats and opportunities, and aiding in the formulation of investment strategies based on technical insights.Rodolfo earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology at the Universidad de Chile. He was recognized with the Humberto Fuenzalida award by the Chilean Geologists Association and is a chartered professional with AusIMM.
