The Senior Trust Officer will administer a complex book of estate and personal trust accounts, including, testamentary and intervivos trusts, Charitable Trusts, Conservatorships, Guardianships, Life Insurance Trusts, Private Family Foundations, Special Needs Trusts, and other Agency accounts. Perform initial legal and trust administration review of all potential new trust or investment business. Partner with Business Development colleagues (Banker, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager, etc.) to drive business development and close new Trust business in prospecting activities, while ensuring proposed new relationships are within CNB's risk appetite and can be managed without issue.As a member of City National's Private Banking group, the STO will help deliver tailored financial solutions to high- and ultra-high-net-worth families, select professional services firms and select nonprofits. The Senior Trust Officer (STO) is among the most experienced administration officer in any given geographical region. The STO will manages the most complicated and/or sensitive accounts and interfaces with prominent high net worth Advisory teams to facilitate client relationship management. In addition, the STO partners with Trust Specialists, COI's, and Merrill Lynch advisors to drive business development and close new Trust business in prospecting activities. Responsibilities include meeting with key clients periodically to maintain relationships and identify issues or new business opportunities, and provide trust, estate, and wealth transfer planning advice. My responsibilities include the administration of trust and estate accounts for high net worth and ultra-high net worth brokerage clients of Morgan Stanley, UBS, Wells Fargo, Pershing and others for Reliance Trust Company of Delaware, a Delaware chartered trust company. Providing high quality service to internal and external clients. Providing consultative and technical solutions to all aspects of Trust Administration, regulatory compliance and fiduciary standards and investments. Sourcing, developing and maintaining new fiduciary trust business.

Responsible for the trust administration of the larger, more complex, portfolio trust accounts. Accounts are drawn from any one or more of the following categories: probate, guardianships, living and testamentary trusts, investment advisory and custody accounts, escrows and employee benefit trusts. Responsibilities include managing all accounts in accordance with applicable legal requirements and securing Bank and external professional services as appropriate to fulfill the special needs of trust clients. Position will develope into a management role.

Responsible for a complex and diverse account base including living and testamentary trusts, investment management, agency, and custodial accounts. Assist clients in designing personalized retirement, educational, and investment plans.Set up and administer various trust and agency accounts in a timely manner, while ensuring compliance with bank regulations and polices.Consult with beneficiaries and review documentation to determine financial need to provide for their proper support, care, comfort, and medical needs.Review and interpret trust documents in order to determine that administration is being conducted according to the intentions of the trustor and/or court order. Serves as a liaison to other internal departments including legal, tax, investment managers and compliance.
