CurrentAt the Lung Saskatchewan Rod leads an Enterprise Technology department employing Microsoft and Linux environments to develop software, offer network infrastructure, and to provide business workflow solutions via computer systems. His team services the different departments and board of directors for the Lung Association of Saskatchewan (LAS) but also services the national lung association and other provincial lung associations within the federation, as well as sister organizations. Offering outside services has provided income to LAS accommodating a larger, more accomplished team.For his team members, Rod makes their career a highest priority by offering a professional environment and enjoyable opportunities working with cutting edge technologies. His team use agile methodologies (Extreme Programming), in a mentoring hierarchy, to deliver technologies that meet the business needs of the organization.For his project stakeholders, Rod continually monitors emerging technologies that may be applicable to their needs. He proposes projects that assist them in accomplishing their business goals.Rod shares software and frameworks from his private corporation and designs the software systems they implement.
