Here, I worked on Itaú Unibanco modernizing legacy systems by refactoring monoliths for microservices and mainframe systems for the cloud. I started supporting the leadership of the team with definitions of cloud architecture using AWS.In Itaú Unibanco I had a big challenge in my career, developing microservices using Quarkus in a company with libraries and tools prepared for Spring Framework. In this experience, I worked with a legacy system in PHP 5 that was bought from Banco Inter to another company, and my function was to transform this legacy system into a new cloud system in AWS using Java with Micronaut Framework. Works developing the back-end with Java of an institutional ERP designed and built from zero and with pretensions to commercializing like service for other public companies. The project uses Spring MVC with Spring Boot 2.2, Java 12, Maven, TDD, jUnit4, Driven Domain Design (DDD), and Onion Architecture. Like the quality parameter, the back-end team adopted the test coverage minimum in 80% of the code, which has been maintained at ~85%, and some test cases validate the requirements scenarios. We have high scalability and maintainability due to the architecture and security the tests give when changing any system flow.
