“The cost of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.” - ThoreauBorn in Michigan, I’m a lifelong entrepreneur that started a fruit stand in his moms front yard at not quite 10 years old. Since then I’ve lived in Charleston, Charlotte, Costa Rica and now the mountains of Virginia. In that time I went on to build much, much bigger fruit stands (ok…not actual fruit - but you’re picking up what I’m putting down <—- see what I did there?). Fun Fact: I was one of the first graduates of UT’s Entrepreneurship, Family and Small Business Program. 30 years on, I’ve built multiple 7 figure companies both product and service based and in 2021 attended Brown University to attain my ICF certifications as a professional business coach. I’ve built it all, lost it all, and built it all again. Now, when I’m not writing, volunteering, or traveling, I’m fortunate to spend my time helping a small number of entrepreneurs and owners build businesses that fit their lives - not the other way around. Another Fun Fact: 100% of the profits from my current ventures are donated to charity. In between countries I also managed 46 states, every MLB Park and a handful of events like the SuperBowl, World Series, concerts at Wembley and more.
