Electrical Engineer IiiParker Aerospace Oct 2011 - May 2017Cleveland, Ohio, Us● Led root cause investigations of several field failures of FMU pump. FMU is installed on the Boeing 787 APU. Developed ETP (Engineering Test Procedure) to facilitate troubleshooting by Technicians. Investigations were at the analog electronics, power electronics, or system level. ● Analyzed C software used to determine the FMU’s BLDC motor offset for consistent convergence and determined that it was flawed. This resulted in a Tiger team formation and eventual resolution. ● Conducted a root cause analysis for production failures of the EMB505 FCE at both the system and circuit level. Identified four trends that lead to higher production yields when they were incorporated into the next board revision. ● Led EMI testing of the ECU for the Boeing P8, starting with QTP, TRR, outside lab testing, QTR, and final resolution of customer comments. Earned the successful acceptance of our product by customer despite much difficulty. My work earned company recognition. ● Performed PostProcessing of test results of Embraer EMB550 FBW EMI testing.
