I’ve had the opportunity to share my knowledge in the area of web development to interested people that want to change careers or complement with their current studies in the IT areas. I’m working in a specialization software for medical schools, we do the support of the software as well as any improvement in that the code might need and also some specific changes that the clients (ask for).We work through bitbucket versioning platform and the software is made with PHP, SQL HTML, and Bootstrap.Those are the technologies which I’m working right now, we also do the installation of the server for the schoolsand the training of people to know how to maintain the server and the software outside of what it may take backto us to work outside the local server.I have implemented a new security lock so that some data can’t be accessed to normal user as well as some fields can’t be deleted if a register already exists, I made this because there was an issue where some people deleted important data that should not be deleted, I also made a change to the code so the flow of the software would be smoother.Database Migration from Firebird to SQL for a database with more than 7 million records.

Give support for a Unix distribution (linux) in the side of banking for the level 2 connecting to the DB’s (KDB), and with autosys to confirm the correct functionality of the processes and jobs, and in case there is a problem, solving it within my credentials, if my credentials are not enough, then making the escalation to the level 3 support team, or connecting with the required teams to solve the issue.Closely working with command line and queries.

I have been working for a company that one of their prime businesses is an event location called Hacienda de los Santos, for which I have done a web app to manage the sales and the salespersons that work for that particular business. This app was coded using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery for the part of the front-end, and also PHP and MySQL in the back-end part, to do the connections and storage of the info through a DB.

From 07/2014 to 12/2014 I worked as an app support, my main task was to secure the correct functionality of the application as well as to change any kind of configuration for the app to keep running, as long as it was on my credentials, if not to contact the correct department or team to take care of it.From 01/2015 to 09/2015, I worked on another project where my main task was to give support for 2 apps, assure they run without failure through connecting to servers, and changing the code upon request of maintenance or request of an upgrade or task, also keep track of changes and upgrades in the latest technologies to make sure that the app runs OK. I also had to do a configuration of local setup for test environments for both apps and migration of server and upgrade of DB and MQ versions.
