• Modelling of Hooke’s joints in steering column and application of the model in determining angular speed and position fluctuations of the steering pinion, through MS Excel. Found a configuration that reduced steering angle fluctuation in 8.4%.• Failure prediction on control arms tubes under inelastic buckling, using tangent modulus method.
