Frontend Engineer
CurrentWhen I started, I was the sole frontend developer at the company, embarking on a journey to shoulder the responsibilities of maintaining and improving three multi-language web apps and a GraphQL middleware. During this time, I have implemented many new features, improved others that needed refactoring, and successfully revamped an outdated booking funnel from React to Next.js. The results were substantial increases in customer conversions, improved performance, and enhanced SEO. Additionally, I have created comprehensive frontend documentation, instilling best practices, conventions, and clean code for seamless onboarding of future developers.Furthermore, I play a pivotal role in building key features that lay the groundwork for the company's future accomplishments.Additionally, I have implemented and maintained various linting and formatting tools, such as ESLint, Prettier, EditorConfig, Lint-staged, Husky, and commit/branch conventions. These measures ensure consistent coding standards, smoother collaboration, and an optimized development process.I have had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting in hiring and mentoring a frontend intern. Through dedicated hours of guidance and support, the intern has evolved into an independent and capable junior developer, adept at handling smaller-scale features and contributing to the team's success. In addition to my development responsibilities, I manage CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, ensuring streamlined and efficient deployments for all applications.Frontent:ReactTypeScriptNext.jsReact NativeGraphQLApollo ClientGraphQL ToolsCypress Codegen UI Libraries:Material UI (for web apps)NativeBase (for React Native app)Development Practices and Tools:ESLintPrettierEditorConfigLint-stagedHuskyCommit and Branch Conventions librariesOther Responsibilities:Multi-language support for all appsCI/CD setup, modifications, and improvements using CircleCI
