Since then, I have been dedicated to the development and execution of a long-term sustainable growth strategy based on future scenarios, strategic bets and technological roadmaps.

Reporting directly to the CEO, I had a one-of-a-kind experience on leading an exceptional hardware and software development team for a small and very innovative high-tech company. Focused on the development of solutions to extend the reach of public telecom networks to rural and remote areas, we managed to build a start-up-like working environment where our team was able to create, validate and launch more than 10 commercial products in just 18 months.

I took part on many key consulting projects which evaluated technological, financial and regulatory issues for telecom operators, electricity companies and public institutions. My main contributions were related to the development of techno-economic models and strategic analysis in the evaluation of IT&C technologies and services.I was specially fortunate to lead the development of the first universal service cost models for the Brazilian Ministry of Communications and for the Brazilian Telecommunications Regulatory Agency. As a direct result from these models, some outdated obligations for the telecom incumbents were properly swapped for free broadband internet connections to all urban public schools in Brazil.
